Hammerstein Museum Gala Auction

The Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center is pleased to offer items and experiences for auction, many themed to the works of Oscar Hammerstein II and the young man he mentored, Stephen Sondheim. There's something for everyone! All proceeds support preservation initiatives at Highland Farm, Hammerstein's home and creative epicenter in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Silent Auction Procedures:
- Attendance at the October 21 Gala is not required to participate in the auction. All are welcome to browse and bid.
- Click "Join the Auction" to bid. Registration with a credit card is required to place a bid.
- Silent Auction Bidding closes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024.
- All winning bids are final. The highest qualifying bid at the close of the auction is the winner. All sales are final. Payments will be processed to the credit card provided during registration at the close of the auction.
Live Auction Bids:
- Live Auction items are available to preview.
- If you are not attending the Gala on October 21, 2024, you can submit a maximum bid by doing the following:
- Register to bid by providing the required information and your credit card.
- For each Live Auction item you wish to bid on, email the following information to eshapiro.ohmtec@gmail.com no later than 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024:
- Name
- Email and Phone Number
- Live Auction Item # and Description you are bidding on
- Your maximum bid for that item
- Items will not be sold for less than a specified minimum bid.
- Live Auction winners will be notified at the conclusion of the Gala on October 21, 2024.
- We are grateful to the individuals and businesses who donated items to the auction. Please read item descriptions carefully and note any restrictions and expiration dates. Some items require reservations and are based on availability. Unless otherwise specified, taxes, gratuities, and alcoholic beverages are not included. The Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center can only be held responsible for those items it has offered.
- Items will be available for pick up at the close of the auction for those attending the event. For those not at the event, you will be contacted to make arrangements for you to pick up your item(s) in Doylestown, PA. If an auction item can be shipped, the cost will be covered by the winning bidder.
- Winning bidders for auction packages with alcohol must be 21+ years. Proof of age may be requested at pick-up. Alcohol cannot be shipped.
- Item values are the retail or fair market value, where known, or estimates. Check with your own tax advisor as to the deductibility of the purchase of each item.
